NICHOLAS BRAUN

Freelance Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus · 10+ years of experience

DESCRIPTION

I take ownership of backends that have to run reliably in production — from system design and data model to the API, the deployment and the monitoring that tells you when something is off. On fullstack projects I build the React or Vue frontend on top.

Recent work includes an event-sourced chat service, a backend migration across an entire codebase, and a Go crawler that runs unattended and calls an LLM only where rules aren't enough.
